Seattle, WA – Gregg's Cycle has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Best Bicycle Retailers in the country by a panel of leading manufacturers. Boulder Sports Research, LLC, a leading bicycle industry research company, conducted the survey.

Working with the top twelve suppliers in the industry and the industry’s leading trade publication Bicycle Retailer and Industry News, criteria used to pick the winners including market share, community outreach and store appearance. “There are more than 5,000 bicycle retailers in the United States,” said Thomas Prehn, president of the research company. “For Gregg's Cycles to achieve the status of one of the Top 100 Bicycle Retailers in the nation is no small matter. This bike shop stands as the best of the best,” he said.

Marc Sani, the magazine’s publisher, said choosing the nation’s best stores is a tremendous challenge. “There are so many excellent shops—in hundreds of communities throughout the U.S.—that picking the Top 100 only begins to reflect the overall high quality of bicycle retailing,” he said.

This makes 100% attendance for Gregg's Cycles on this list. Gregg's Cycle is one of a select few shops nationwide and the only Northwest Shop that has been included all 22 years this rating has been conducted. Gregg's Greenlake has been serving the Seattle community since 1932 and has been invloved in the community on many fronts for many years. In 2009 we are proud to be a 5 Star Retailer, an award given to only a small handfull of shops that have been on the Top 100 list for the last 5 years in a row. The Five Star ratings include 27 shops of which only 11 were included in the original Top 100 list in 1987.
